Buttercup Setting Powder

I have only used this setting powder for over 4 years now. Works amazing with my skin tone. I stock and get 2 at a time. I refuse to use any other setting powder. However it has went up in pricing. It was $20. That’s another reason I loved it. Amazing product at an affordable price.

I use this as a setting powder and it works very well on me. It keeps my makeup on for the day even though I have oily skin, it looks great. I would prefer different packaging though as it is annoying to have the powder just spill out from the little holes. Other than that, the powder is great. I am happy I bought it.

I have the Laura Mercier and thought that was good, but this stuff is even better!! It's definitely made for Women of Color. My skin is brown/Carmel and it just looked so natural and gave me that POP of highlight without the ashy flashback! Also the price is AMAZING for the quality!

When it comes to certain things in makeup, it pays to spend that extra $$$. I went from a cheap drugstore brand to Sacha Buttercup and the quality was much much much and beyond better! My makeup looked ALOT better. The only problem I had with it, is I wish it wasnt, as yellow, but that all depends on if you get heavy handed with it, but other than that, I highly recommend this. Certain things you can get away with buying cheap, ( bc I do like saving money) but this is one thing you should invest in

I have dry skin with yellowish undertones. Whenever I need to set my concealer, or give an overall "beat" look, I reach for my Sacha buttercup. My only reservation is the packaging can make it difficult to travel with. Otherwise, 10s, 10s across the board! No flash back and lasts countless hours!

His baking powder works really well on dark skin. In my opinion it's sets much better than the Ben Nye Sienna and Topaz Powder.

I have wanted to try this for awhile and my first impression was it's alright. It does the job but nothing spectacular or anything. I'll give it some more time but I was expecting more.

This is so good for my oily skin! I usually get oily on the t zone so this what I use to bake. Can't get enough, it's definitely finer than the Ben Nye. Can't imagine going back to using Ben Nye!

This powder is perfect for my skin tone! I apply this powder with a beauty blender sponge to place on top of my concealer, it sets all day & blends very well. I've always used this powder to set my concealer. I also tried it with foundation and it still looks great! This is my go to holy grail powder, cannot live without it!

I've tried all the other setting powders prior to purchasing this one. Ben Nye was my holy grail until I bumped into this gem. I brought into the hype of Laura Mercier's translucent powder($38) and I'm still waiting to be impressed. Buttrrcup powder is my favorite setting powder. It's finely grained, goes on smooth and doesn't leave that horrible flashback. I use JackieAina's coupon code and save about $3 every time I purchase. $17 for this amazing product is a steal!

I just want to point out that this product contains titanium dioxide, which is considered a carcinogen when inhaled... SUCKS, because this product works so well!! Please please please make another with safe ingredients!!

I received my product in a week. However the black cover of the setting powder looked old with scratches on it. I thought the product had been tampered with but the inside looked sealed. In summary, it looked like an item someone had returned and the warehouse just sealed it back without paying attention to the cover of the container.

I recieved this yesterday after viewing so many youtube videos on how to bake when applying makeup. Buttercup was always the powder of choice by the models. Well, I was not disappointed. I love love love the look it gives my face. Photo perfect!

The consistency of the powder is high-quality, it is very finely milled. However, for my skin tone it gave me an ashy appearance. I was told to use less, but then I would not be controlling my oils on my face. I am a Mac NW45 for reference.

After several months of using Sacha Cosmetics Buttercup Powder, I can honestly say this is an amazing product. The product is finely milled, it blends rather smoothly rather your simply setting your your makeup or using the "cooking" methods the product blends out effortlessly. I haven't experience any under eye creasing with the Buttercup Powder. I also love the fact that I never have to worry about having that ghostly cast in photos from other setting powder that I have tried in the past. Great product...finally something for my skin tone

This product is great. It doesn't have a thick feel on your face, it's light and leaves a great finish however, I wish it wasn't so expensive to ship to Canada. I don't think paying an extra $60 for a $20 product is worth it at all!

this product is amazing!! Very comparable(might be even better) than the Ben nye banana powder. Not chalky and provides excellent coverage. I recommend setting your highlights with this and leaving it for 10-20 mins and dust it off after the 10-20 min waiting period. Amazing amazing amazing!! Don't ever discontinue this!

I love how finely milled this powder is. It also does better with preventing camera flashback (or that ghostly look you get in flash photos) better than other powders. It's great for setting under eye concealer.

I absolutely love this item...

This is a great product. It was recommended to me by a Sacha sales rep which i was buying the Matte Lipsticks (which i adore as well). I use the Buttercup with BB Cream alone and it works wonderfully. The cream evens out my skin tone, but the Buttercup works great as a setting powder. It lasted at least 8 hours for me and was still going strong after work. I would say I have about a medium complexion in indian skin so non-sacha products never match my skin-tone exactly, but this i had no problems with. It gave me long lasting coverage during the day, with no oily spots peaking through and gives a beautiful matte finish.

I use this with the Second Skin Foundation which can get a little oily on my skin. Paired together, not only does it control oil like a beast (I only had to blot one time the whole night I used this), there is literally NOT ONE PORE AT ALL on your face after using this. It makes your skin look airbrushed in real life. The color of this powder is fantastic for brown skin as it doesn't look pasty.The packaging is also much more convenient than Ben Nye's.I don't think I will be picking up my Ben Nye Banana Powder anymore.I love this stuff.
